Did you know Facebook launched it's live streaming feature recently? It was only available in some countries but recently it launched its features in Nepal too. Yes, you heard correct ! The Facebook live feature is now available in Nepal also. Now, you can share your precious moments with your dear ones going live.
What is Facebook Live?
Facebook Live allows Facebook mobile users to broadcast live video via the Facebook app on their smartphone or Desktop/Laptop, launched on iOS in the U.S. at the beginning of February but extended in other countries slowly.
It was available only on the IOS devices at first but realising the mass of Android users, it was available for Android too. It says about 50 percent of the total 'Facebook Live' users are using Android.
It now also allows broadcasters to limit their videos to a certain location and age group with geo- and age-gating. When watching a replay of a Facebook Live video, users will now be able to see when the engagement was at its highest so they can jump to the best bits of the video.
How to go live?
First of all, update your Facebook android app to the latest version and follow these steps.
Step 1: Go to the status box and click 'Live' option.
Step 2: Provide the description and post it.
